WHATaDAVID - A capsule to eat with the eyes!
The Earth is beauty and goodness. It is an immense art gallery, a huge garden. An atelier in the sky (ops, universe) open with works of all kinds. Timeless, immobile and patient artistic masterpieces, made to satisfy our hunger for knowledge; natural and tasty masterpieces that nourish us by changing shape, color and flavor according to the season, sister (or twin?) of sustainability.
We dream that the works of man take care of the natural ones, forever. This is why in the autumn-winter 2020 capsule collection the famous lady does not cuddle an ermine, but a beautiful juicy pumpkin; David does not hold a sling, but a bunch of black grapes.
Wear Medulla made tees, promote the care for beautiful and good things!
"Sustainable development is that which satisfies the needs of current generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own." (UN World Commission on Environment and Development, 1987)

If you clicked on this page you already know a lot about WHATaECO.
So let us tell you why we have chosen to make t-shirts instead of everyhting else.
We know our wardrobes are full of T-shirts, and we may not need to buy a new one. However, we believe that a T-shirt is forever, it never goes out of style, it's versatile and has no age, plus it's a great message promoter!
Those who wear our t-shirts send a clear message, stand out, take part in the change and support WHATaECO, an Italian female start-up which can't wait to create new (decent) job places.
We created this capsule in collaboration with modenese artisans that fully reflect our vision.
WHATaECO has chosen Medulla because has developed a silk-screen printing technique that involves the creation of colors exclusively with natural elements, partly reconstructing the archaic and traditional rules dictated by Cennino Cennini in "The Book of Art" (end XIV).
Medulla's commitment, in close contact with nature, teaches us how precious and generous it is.
The color used is "organic" which means it is alive. So, a constant research for stability is necessary every time it is combined with a new fabric. The colors change with the seasons so they are not always all available for the entire period of the year. Furthermore, the range of colors is limited and the level of opacity obtained is lower than industrial and synthetic colors.
The resulting original effect immediately communicates the natural characteristic of the color, the craftsmanship of the print and the love of those who made it.
